The Kitchen is Like New! Here’s How I Cleaned It of Sticky Grease, Stains, and Buildup of Various Kinds
Maintaining a kitchen can be challenging, especially when sticky grease and stubborn stains start to build up. After a lot of trial and error, I found a method that leaves my kitchen sparkling like new! Here’s my step-by-step guide to tackling grease, stains, and buildup from every corner of the kitchen.
1. Degreasing the Stove and Countertops
The stove is often the greasiest area of the kitchen, so I started there. I made a simple but powerful degreaser using everyday items:
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup of baking soda
- 1/4 cup of white vinegar
- A few drops of dish soap
Steps:
- First, sprinkle baking soda over greasy areas, especially around burners.
- Pour a little vinegar on top and watch the bubbles do their magic. The fizzing action helps break down the grease.
- Scrub the areas with a sponge soaked in dish soap, then rinse with warm water.
- Wipe the area clean with a microfiber cloth.
