Sour Cream & Dill Cucumbers

1. Prepare the Cucumbers:
Peel and slice the cucumbers into thin rounds.

2. Soak:
Place sliced cucumbers in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, and pour in enough cold water to cover them. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

3. Make the Dressing:
In a separate bowl, combine grated onion, sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, dill, black pepper, and a pinch of cayenne. Mix well.

4. Combine:
After the cucumbers have soaked, drain them thoroughly.
Gently mix the cucumbers with the sour cream dressing.

5. Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the finished salad for at least 1 hour before serving.
