Raspberry Cream Cheese Danish

Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough
Roll the crescent dough into an even rectangle. Spread softened cream cheese over the dough and sprinkle with demerara sugar.

Mix the Filling
In a bowl, lightly mix the raspberry jam with fresh raspberries until the berries are coated.

Shape the Danishes
Cut the dough into 4 long, even strips. Twist each strip into a circular Danish shape. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

Add Filling & Bake
Brush each Danish with egg wash. Spoon the raspberry mixture into the center.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the centers are firm and golden.

Make the Glaze
While the danishes bake, whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, warm water, vanilla, and salt until smooth.

Glaze and Serve
Drizzle the glaze over warm danishes and let them set for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Serving Tip
These are best enjoyed warm with coffee or tea. A light dusting of extra powdered sugar adds a charming bakery-style finish.
