Mongolian Ground Beef

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, seasoning it with salt and pepper.

  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook until fragrant, about 2–3 minutes.

  4. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir. Let it simmer and thicken for 1–2 minutes.

  5. Stir to coat the ground beef in the sauce evenly.

  6. Add the green onions and cook for another 2 minutes, just until wilted.

  7. Serve hot over white rice. You can also serve it with steamed vegetables if desired.
