Meatball Sub Bubble Up Bake

Directions:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray an oven-safe skillet or a 3-quart baking dish with nonstick spray.

  2. Cut each biscuit into 6 wedges and arrange them in the prepared baking dish.

  3. Top the biscuits with marinara sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine.

  4. Nestle the meatballs in-between and on top of the biscuit pieces. Then, top with half of the mozzarella cheese.

  5. Spray a piece of foil with nonstick spray and cover the dish, with the sprayed side facing down.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes, remove the foil, and add the remaining mozzarella cheese. Continue baking for another 15 minutes.

  7. If desired, place the dish under the broiler for 1-2 minutes to brown the cheese further.
