Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar1/4 cup water6 tablespoons unsalted butter (cut into pieces)1/2 cup heavy cream1 teaspoon vanilla extractPinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Add sugar and water to a saucepan. Heat on medium, stirring until sugar dissolves.
2. Stop stirring and let it bubble, swirling the pan occasionally, until it turns golden amber (about 8–12 minutes).
3. Remove from heat and whisk in butter carefully (it will bubble up).
4. Slowly add the cream while whisking, then stir in vanilla and salt.
5. Cool for 10 minutes, then pour into a jar.
