Glazed Air Fryer Donuts – Sweet, Pillowy Perfection in Minutes

Instructions

  1. Prep the Donuts:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes.
    • Open the biscuit dough and separate the biscuits.
    • Use a small round cutter (or a bottle cap) to cut a hole in the center of each biscuit to form a donut shape. You can save the holes to make donut holes, or “mini donuts” as we call them in donut-land.
  2. Brush with Butter:
    • Lightly brush both sides of the donut and donut holes with melted butter. You want them to be glistening, not swimming in butter.
  3. Air Fry the Donuts:
    • Place the donuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Be sure to leave some space between them—airflow is key for that golden crisp.
    • Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden brown and cooked through. Keep an eye on them to prevent overcooking (no one likes burnt donuts).
  4. Make the Glaze:
    • While the donuts are cooking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a bowl until smooth. If the glaze is too thick, add a little more milk until it’s the perfect dipping consistency.
  5. Glaze and Serve:
    • Once the donuts are done, remove them from the air fryer and immediately dip them in the glaze while they’re still warm. You can dip just one side or go for the full coverage—no one’s judging!
    • Let them sit for a few minutes to allow the glaze to set, then devour them like the donut connoisseur you are.
