Instructions
1. Make the Tuna Salad
In a large bowl, mix together:
Tuna
Mayonnaise
Celery
Red bell pepper
Red onion
Dijon mustard
Parsley
Salt and pepper
Stir until well combined.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches
Lay out 8 slices of bread.
Spread a generous layer of tuna mixture on each.
Top with 1–2 slices of cheddar cheese.
Cover with the remaining 8 slices of bread.
3. Grill the Sandwiches
Butter the outside of each sandwich (one side per slice of bread).
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Grill sandwiches in batches, buttered side down, for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
4. Serve
Slice sandwiches in half.
Serve hot with pickles, a crisp salad, or warm soup.
