Instructions:
Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain.
In the same pot, cook the peas until tender, then drain.
In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
Add the potatoes and peas to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
