Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Preparation:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  2. First Dough Layer:
    Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the dish, sealing any seams.

  3. Make Cheesecake Layer:
    In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread this mixture over the dough layer.

  4. Second Dough Layer:
    Unroll and place the second can of crescent dough over the cream cheese mixture, sealing the edges.

  5. Topping:
    Drizzle the melted butter evenly on top. In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon, and sprinkle this over the buttered dough.

  6. Bake:
    Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
