How to Make Buttery Pecan Snowball Cookies

 

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2️⃣ In a stand mixer, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

3️⃣ Turn mixer to low and mix in salt, vanilla, flour, and chopped pecans until combined.

4️⃣ Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart.

5️⃣ Bake for 11 minutes.
⚠️ Do not overbake. Cookies should not brown.

6️⃣ Cool slightly until safe to handle.

7️⃣ Place 1 cup powdered sugar into a large Ziploc bag or wide bowl. Add 3–4 warm cookies at a time and gently coat them with powdered sugar. Use a fork to lift them out, shaking off excess sugar.

8️⃣ Place coated cookies on cooling racks. Once fully cooled, roll in powdered sugar again for a beautiful finish.
