Baked Onion Beef Fried Rice with Mixed Vegetables

Directions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.

Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent.

Stir in the mixed vegetables and cook for 2–3 more minutes.

Add cooked rice, breaking up any clumps.

Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well to combine.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer everything to a baking dish and spread evenly.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the top is slightly crispy.

Let it cool for a few minutes after baking.

Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Variations & Tips

Vegetarian: Replace beef with crumbled tofu or tempeh. Add a scrambled egg for extra protein.

Spicy twist: Mix in 1 tsp chili paste or a dash of hot sauce.

Gluten-free: Use certified gluten-free soy and oyster sauces.
